My name is Sally Clark. I’ve been a nurse for more than 15 years working mainly in critical care settings at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Anne Arundel Medical Center. After years of seeing many patients repeatedly return to the hospital and to surgery, often for procedures that could most likely be delayed or even prevented through healthy lifestyle and integrative practices, I began to feel as though the impact I was having on these folks was minimal.
Experiencing the teachings and treatments of Acupuncture during some difficult life journeys over the years, I pursued my Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from Maryland University of Integrative Health in Laurel, MD so that I could integrate Western and Eastern healing to more wholly serve my patients. Acupuncture is a modality where the practitioner and patient have to work together to create change. I’m passionate about walking alongside my patients and watching them begin to heal, grow and flourish.
Our bodies are inherently wise and capable of healing themselves with help. Through Acupuncture and treating the root cause of symptoms you can take control over your health and wellbeing. At Wellness From Within I work to harmonize the benefits of both Western and Eastern medicine in caring for the entire patient – body, mind and spirit – in a safe and nurturing environment.
Acupuncture for Better Living.
When I’m not being an acupuncturist and nurse, I love to run, sail and ski with my son and husband, and just generally play outdoors.
